What is the new child care subsidy?

The maximum monthly new child care subsidy for a working mother is $300 per child.

The subsidy rates will vary based on the program type enrolled and the working status of the mother. To qualify as a working mother, she must work for at least 56 hours per month.
See Table 2 below for the different subsidy rates.
