What
our parents say... |
My elder
daughter Joey attended School House Bythegarden just before
she turned two years old. She loves her school since her first
day here, with the serene environment, spacious outdoor, classrooms
and the activity-based programmes.
The staffs’ warmth and sincerity really make both parents
and kids feel at ease. Now my younger daughter Joan is also
enjoying school here. They always look forward to going back
to school after the weekends.

Jason has
been attending School House Bythegarden for about 8 months.
There are many things he and I love about the “skool”,
but what particularly stands out is the ways the teacher and
the principal view Jason’s education as a partnership
with the parents. We have had conversations about food allergies,
curriculum, behaviour issues such as sharing, and separation
anxiety. This partnership gives me greater confidence in leaving
Jason in their care.

One of the
assets of School House Bythegarden is its people. The teachers
and the principal are wonderful. They are caring and committed
professionals who show genuine interest in a child's holistic
development and are keen to work in tandem with parents so that
home and school values are in sync. They take time and great
pains to communicate their observations and recommendations
to parents, even if it means writing long feedback and comments
in the Communication Book. While a great curriculum can be replicated,
the great pool of people at School House can't!

My daughter
joined this School when she was a toddler. Now, she is in the
Pre-nursery class and she is able to recognize most of the letters
in the alphabet. It surprises me for her brother/sisters were
unable to do that when they were at her age. This ultimately
increases my trust and confidence of the School’s teaching
system.
The School has a weekly timetable for the children, which helps
parents to understand what their kids are progressively learning.
The teachers are well trained, patient, loving and polite. Even
though the child does not come from her class, she will help
to take care of him/her. This shows that the teachers are very
helpful and co-operative among themselves.
The School also takes good care of the learning environment.
In order to let the children have a better understanding of
certain plants and small animals, the School plants vegetables
and rear pets in the garden.
I believe I have chosen the right school for my daughter.

My daughters
have been attending School House Bythegarden since January 2004.
In closely monitoring my daughters' rapid progress in these
crucial early years, I am pleased that they have thoroughly
enjoyed their time at the centre, which has been providing them
with the confidence and skills needed for a solid start in primary
school. From a non-Chinese speaking background, both my daughters
have, within a year, gained a good foundation for the language.
Throughout this period, the staff of the School House Bythegarden,
has displayed a level of personal attention and enthusiasm that
is often lacking in many child care centres. I am delighted
to recommend the school to any prospective parents as a place
of childcare excellence.

We were nervous
putting our daughter into school at such a young age (18mth)
but Jeffrey and his teachers have been amazing. We are kept
up to date on her progress daily and she is receiving superior
care and attention. Hayden loves going to school and we love
her attending School House Bythegarden.
